The Grand Prize Of European Excellence
Monin Syrups of France was recently awarded the European answer to the Malcolm Baldridge Award: The Grand Prize Of European Excellence.
Following is information explaining the dignity and prestige in receiving this award.
The 1994 Grand Prize of European Excellence.
The Committee of Excellence was created in 1976 by Rene CASSIN, NOBEL Peace Prize winner, French founder of UNESCO, and President of the European Court of Human Rights, to further acknowledge the intelligence, creativity, quality, refinement and art which illustrate the European culture and art of living.
Each year, the Committee awards the Grand Prize of European Excellence to a Company for perfection in its product production.
Past award winners constitute the elite of Europe's industry: each of them internationally recognized such as the watches from PIAGET and OMEGA (Switzerland), the cars from ROLLS-ROYCE, JAGUAR (U.K.) and MERCEDES BENZ (Germany), the MONT-BLANC pens (France), RIVA yachts (Italy), SAINT-LAURENT, VAN-CLEEF & ARPEELS perfumes (France), Christian DIOR furs (France), BROWNING hunting guns (Belgium) and SPA mineral waters (Belgium).
In 1994, the Committee awarded the Grand Prize of European Excellence to MONIN, elected worthy to appear among these other prestigious names.
