Chai originated in India when an exotic concoction of tea, cinnamon, cloves and various other spices were brewed together and strained to produce a lovely aromatic tea called ‘Chai’. When the English arrived with their habit of adding milk and sugar to tea, the combination of tea (Chai) and milk (latte) evolved, and is now commonly known as ‘Chai latte’.
Monin have produced a well balanced blend of green tea and spices in to syrup and when hot frothy milk is added a lovely warming healthy beverage is created.

Our Chai concentrate will primarily enable you to make the perfect Chai Latte but also lots of other beverage and culinary uses. Try pouring over porridge or ice cream, add to stewed apples, or poached pears.
